Trena is made with Tardana, a native vine variety with thick-skinned, long-cycle grapes, very well acclimatized to the inland ecosystem of the province of Valencia, at more than 700 meters above sea level.

This wine comes from a three plots planted between 1940 and 1965, where the vines are grown using a head- pruned system, structure that saves water and protects from excessive sunstroke.
