The first to give them a score is the <strong>Pe\u00f1\u00edn Wine Guide<\/strong>, which has awarded an outstanding <strong>91 Points<\/strong> to the Los \u00c1lamos A single-vineyard wine from 2023 and to LoAlto Bobal 2023, which is also given <strong>4 Stars<\/strong> for its excellent value for money.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Los \u00c1lamos A 2023<\/strong> single-vineyard wine is made with white Garnacha grape, clearly reflecting the character of the Mediterranean and its people. The vines grow on soil with a significant clay component that draws considerable humidity from the groundwater, and here this Mediterranean grape variety expresses itself in its full splendour.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Los \u00c1lamos A 2023 has the aromas of its terroir, with hints of citrus peel and mountain herbs and the perfume of sage and white flowers. Its bright, juicy flavours offer sizzling freshness pushing on to a long, creamy finish.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>LoAlto Bobal 2023<\/strong> is an estate wine reflecting the landscape of the vine-growing area. The entire harvest is by hand and different percentages of whole bunches are macerated in vats with slightly crushed grapes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Once fermentation is over, the wine is transferred to a cement tank for ten months. LoAlto Bobal is dark red with a violet rim. It has an intense aroma of red fruits, such as strawberry and cherry, together with hints of black fruit, such as blueberries, accentuated with hints of menthol. In the mouth it is hefty with fruit, offering an evocative finish. Its fine-grained tannins provide structure in the mouth, making it a well-balanced, juicy, luscious wine.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">All LoAlto wines are organic (both the vineyards and the winery have the organic certificate), they are suitable for vegans, and bottling is without clarification, only light filtration. The appearance of sediments is a natural part of their ageing process, and should not be seen as a fault.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Wine Guide published by the Pe\u00f1\u00edn Group is a reference for Spanish wine lovers and professionals. In the 2025 edition, it has published ratings for 9,800 wines, with detailed information on wineries, origins, grape varieties, type of wine, vintages, ratings and tasting notes. The \u201cGu\u00eda Pe\u00f1\u00edn de los Vinos de Espa\u00f1a 2025\u201d will be in bookshops from October.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About LoAlto<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The old Casa Lo Alto estate, founded in 1796, lies on a hill among pine and holm oak forests in the municipality of Venta del Moro in the Hoces del Cabriel Natural Park.
